DEBRA JEAN BUSE

Debra Jean Buse, 67, of Webster City passed away Sunday, February 16 at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home in Fort Dodge after a long illness.

Debra Jean Wright was born October 23, 1952 to Robert and Phyllis Wright in Emmetsburg, Iowa. She graduated from Emmetsburg High School and Iowa Lakes Community College where she met her future husband, Barry Buse. Debra and Barry were united in marriage on October 29, 1972. The couple resided in Albert City where Debra worked at Pleasant View Nursing Home and where they were blessed with two children, Michael and Molly. The family moved to Webster City in 1990 where Debra worked at Kendall Young Library until her retirement in 2015.

Debra loved working outdoors in her flower garden, doing all sorts of puzzles, and most of all, spending time with her friends and family.

Debra is survived by her husband Barry, children Michael (Meredith) Buse and Molly (Jesse) Tschopp, brother Jim (Jean) Wright, and many nephews, nieces, and in-laws.

Debra was preceded in death by her parents, brother John, niece Megan, and sister-in-law Becky.
