Michele Hupp, 58, of Webster City, died August 28, 2018 at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines. Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at Asbury United Methodist Church with Pastor Jeff Flagg officiating. Burial will be held at a later date at Cass Center Cemetery.
Michele Beth Madsen, daughter of Robin and Donna Streeter Madsen, was born October 25, 1959 in Huron, South Dakota. She graduated from Knoxville High School and the Registered Nurse Program at DMACC. She married Richard Hupp at the Planetarium at the Science Center in Des Moines on December 31, 1993. She was a cardiac nurse at Mercy, General and Methodist Hospitals.
She is survived by her husband, Rick Hupp; daughters, Holly Shafer of Des Moines and Kimberly Shafer of Ankeny; grandchildren, Brandon, Jordan, Leah and Morgan; sisters, Terri (David) Lewis of Las Vegas, NV and Robyn (Jack) Madsen of Florence, AZ, and many nieces and nephews.
Michele was preceded in death by her parents.
She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. She enjoyed basketball especially the Iowa Girls State Tournament.
