Patricia Schwering, of Webster City, died on Sunday, July 15, 2018, at Trinity Reginal Medical Center, in Fort Dodge. The family will receive friends and relatives at Boman Funeral Home on Monday, July 23, 2018, from 11:00 AM – 12:45 PM followed by a Memorial Service at 1:00 PM.

Patricia was born on February 4, 1947, to Harold and Carol (Baker) Hanen in Pennsylvania. The family later moved to Webster City, where she graduated from Webster City High School in 1965. Patricia was employed by Electrolux for 42 years and worked in several different areas of the plant.

She enjoyed shopping, casinos, painting ceramic and Bingo. One of the things she enjoyed was the once a month gathering with former co-workers for day trips and lunch. Patricia’s grandkids were a source of great pleasure for her.

Patricia’s family includes: her faithful companion Sammy the Cockapoo dog; her children Deb (Mark) Rush of Hampton, Duane (Alyssa) Schwering of Webster City, and Dwight (Nicole Cunningham) Schwering of Ankeny; grandchildren: Stephanie, Dakota, Walker, Madison, Drew, Macy, Tyler, Dalton, Jacob, Stephanie, Jacob, and Nicholas; great-grandchildren: Adalinn, Zaydenn, Lanxtynn, and Braelynn. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Michael, in infancy.
