Doratha Carolus, 77, of Ackley, passed away on Monday, April 16, 2018 at Grand JiVante in Ackley. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 20, 2018 at the Washington Reformed Church with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the Sietsema Funeral Home in Ackley.
Doratha is survived by her children Gregory of Parkersburg, Rodney (Julie) of Ackley and Janelle (Lonnie) Rewerts of Wellsburg; her grandchildren Ami (Sam) Cordes of Allison, Blake Carolus of Parkersburg, Ryan Carolus of Cedar Falls, Justin (Emily) Carolus of Ackley, Brian (Jodee) Geerdes of Iowa Falls, Gage Rewerts of Kentucky and Jason Rewerts of Wellsburg; six great-grandchildren and her two brothers Gary (Virginia) Ploeger of Dumont and Lester (Leanna) Ploeger of Webster City.
