Robert Camp, 77, Webster City

He was born August 17, 1940 in Iowa City, Iowa to Henry (Ray) and Ruth Camp. He was raised in Atlantic, Iowa where he attended Atlantic Schools graduating in 1958. Upon graduation he joined the Iowa National Guards for 5 years. On January 21, 1978 he was united in marriage to Karen Schwiebert.

Bob is survived by his wife, their 2 children, Lance (Roni) Camp and Julie (Ryan) Irvin; 2 grandchildren, Samantha and Cameron Camp; 3 step-grandchildren Camaro Snell, Anna and Jaxin Irvin, all of Webster City; in-laws Mona Camp, of Atlantic; Bob & Bee Goretska of Webster City; Ann White of Melvin and several nieces & nephews.

He was employed by Scheldberg Construction as a heavy equipment operator for 11 years. He then worked as a supervisor at Custom Meats, retiring in 1994 due to health reasons.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Jesse (known to all as Jack) Camp; and nephew, Rob Goretska.

Memorial service will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Webster City. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Sunday, October 8th with memorial service on Monday, October 9th, at 1:30 p.m. Memorials may be left at the discretion of the family.
