Russel Staples, 86, Jewell

Russel Staples, age 86, a lifelong Jewell resident, died Friday, April 18, 2014 with his wife and children by his side at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at the United Church of Christ in Jewell. Burial with military honors will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Jewell. Visitation is Monday evening from 5:00 p.m.to 7:00 p.m. at the church.
