Police Report

A two vehicle accident occured on Jan. 31 at Hy-Vee. A 2003 Buick LeSabre was legally parked in a parking space. Constance S. Godinez, Kamrar, was looking for a parking space and due to sun glare was unable to see the LeSabre. The front driver’s side door of Godinez’s vehicle collided with the front driver’s side of the LeSabre. The LeSabre was occupied at the time of the collision. The LeSabre received an esitmated $500.00 in minor damage. Godinez’s vehicle received an estimated $500.00 in minor damage. There were no injuries.

A warrant was served on Jan. 27 to arrest Ashley A. Hovland, Blairsburg.

On Jan. 25, Charles L. Yoders, Webster City, was backing out of a parking stall in the Thrifty White Pharmacy parking lot at 848 Second St. At the same time, Kimberly K. Johnson, Webster City, was traveling north through the parking lot towards a different parking stall. Yoder’s vehicle collided with Johnson’s vehicle. The collision caused minor damage to both vehicles. No injuries were reported as a result of the collision.

Jasmine J. Moore, Webster City, was arrested on Jan. 23 for operating while intoxicated.

Jaevan S. Frye, Webster City, was traveling north in the 1000 block of N. Terrace Dr. in Webster City on Jan. 23. As Frye was traveling, he reportedly lost control and ran off the road to the west. When the vehicle left the road, the rear driver’s side corner struck the mounting pole of a mailbox at 1019 N. Terrace Dr. Frye then continued on N. Terrace and was located parked a few blocks away. Frye admitted to losing control and reportedly stated that he had been “driving too fast.” Estimated damage to the pole was $60. There was an estimated $800 in functional damage to Frye’s vehicle.

Shoshannah K. Moore, Webster City, was arrested on Jan. 22 for 5th degree theft.
