The Kendall Young Library Board of Trustees met Monday night and Director Angie Martin-Schwarze reported that over 150 people attended Santa’s workshop on Saturday.

The Friends of the Library 4th annual Festival of Chocolate will be on Jan. 31 from 2-4pm. Advance tickets are for sale now at the library for $5.00.

This week, the library is in the process of changing to a new DVD checkout system in hopes of curbing a DVD theft problem.

The trustees approved the slate of officers for 2016:

Crystal Gordon, President, Mark Dohms, Vice-president, Dick Anderson, Treasurer, Steve Vande Zande, Secretary, and Tami Hejlik, Gifts Chair.

The next board meeting will be on Jan. 12 at 6:30 p.m.
