You won’t want to miss the second annual Webster City Middle School Celebration of the Arts Night. It runs from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. today.

Students from grades five through eight will present their pieces of artwork throughout the building. In addition, there will be stations to teach members of the community how to work in various artistic mediums.

Also, don’t miss the performances held by solos and small ensembles from the WCMS Band and Choir departments throughout the evening in the school media center.

The public is welcome to help celebrate the arts in our school district community.

The WCMS Fine Arts faculty consist of Anna Harper, sixth- to eighth-grade band; Kala Thury, fifth-grade band; Heidi Kayser, fifth- to eighth-grade visual art; Rachel Daum, fifth- to sixth-grade general music; and Travis Balt, seventh- to eighth-grade choir.
