Director Dane Barner rehearses the Webster City Community Chorus Tuesday night as the ensemble gets ready for its upcoming concert. The program set for this week is the 34th annual holiday concert. Entitled “Coming Together at Christmas” performances are scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 4, at 7 p.m., and Sunday, Dec. 5, at 2 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1229 Kathy Lane, in Webster City. The concert will feature sacred and secular holiday songs, accompanied by Peggy Owens on piano, Eric Hanson on percussion, and Jayce Abens on bass guitar. A free-will offering will be taken, which goes toward the purchase of music and other group expenses. Chorus officials said mask-wearing is encouraged for this event.
