McFarland Clinic in Webster City started administering COVID-19 vaccine to its customers in the 1B priority list last week.

According to officials with McFarland Clinic, patients 65 years and older will automatically be added to the 1B priority list. There is no need for patients to call, the clinic will call patients to scheduled appointments.

Due to the supply shortage and high demand, McFarland Clinic will be scheduling appointments each week for individuals 65 years of age and older on an age-based priority. The clinic will be calling individuals on the list starting with the oldest and working through the list as vaccine supply is made available to us by public health.

Patients can check to see if they are on the list or be added by using the McFarland Clinic Phase 1B Priority List Checker at https://covidsearch-ae65ecrdlq-uc.a.run.app/. Individuals who may qualify under Phase 1B but are younger than 65 are encouraged to contact their respective county public health departments for vaccine options.
