Legacy Learning holds virtual fundraiser

Online raffle to benefit arts organization

Officials with Legacy Learning Boone River Valley were hoping to hold another in-person annual fundraiser, building on the success and interest of the first event held in October 2019. The second event was planned for November 2020 with keynote speaker Kelli Boon, but with COVID-19 restrictions, the fundraiser could not be held.

The fundraiser has now moved to an online fundraiser. Through Jan. 29, the organization will be selling raffle tickets on its website, www.legacylearningbrv.org. Click on the link to purchase tickets. One ticket is $5 or $5 for $20.

The prizes for the raffle include a pastel of the Briggs Woods waterfall, a sculpture by Maureen Seamonds, a sculpture by Madolyn Loring, a $100 gift certificate, a handmade quilt and other items.

The winners will be drawn on Jan. 30.
