YSS of Hamilton County has announced that its annual Friends Campaign is now under way.

“We’ve come to the end of what has been a very challenging year for all of us,” said Jane Adams, executive director. “YSS of Hamilton County has been here through it all to provide services to Hamilton County Youth and their families in need.

“We are proud to report that at the onset of the pandemic, we were able to move most of our clients to telehealth without interruption in their care,” Adams said.

As demand continues to increase for behavioral health services, Adams said the agency remains committed to serving the vulnerable population and are seeking community support to help that effort.

Gifts and contributions may be made by visiting www.yss.org/opportunity2020 and selecting Hamilton County. Adams said gifts may also be sent to YSS of Hamilton County, 1611 Prospect St., Webster City, IA 50595.

In 2016, YSS of Hamilton County opened the Adele and Dean Bowden Youth and Family Clinic at 1611 Prospect St. following a successful capital campaign. The clinic offers mental health assessments and therapy, substance use assessments and treatment, crisis intervention counseling, psychiatry and medication management via telehealth, behavioral health intervention services skill development, individual counseling and Iowa Aftercare services.
