Several county races were also on the ballot Tuesday, but none of those races were contested.

Jerry Kloberdanz, a Webster City Democrat, was elected to the Hamilton County Board of Supervisors. He will serve as the District 1 supervisor, replacing Doug Bailey who chose not to seek re-election. Kloberdanz received 1,558 votes.

Daniel Campidilli, a Republican from Webster City, was re-elected as the District 2 supervisor. He received 2,433 votes.

Republican Kim Schaa was re-elected county auditor, earning 7,093 in her unopposed run.

Sheriff Douglas Timmons was re-elected to his office Tuesday. The Republican garnered 7,035 votes.

Robert Knutson was re-elected to the Van Diest Medical Center Board of Trustees with 4,648 votes. David Everson and Taylor Peterson were also re-elected to seats on the board of trustees, earning 4,318 and 4,272 votes respectively.

A number of township trustees were also elected Tuesday. They are:

¯ Ellsworth Township — 1 elected: Tim Lund, 196 votes

¯ Freedom Township — 1 elected: William Greenley, 145 votes

¯ Fremont Township — 2 elected: Joel E.Peterson, 63 votes, Jann Anderson, 54 votes

¯ Hamilton Township — 2 elected: Deborah Bockwoldt, 94 votes, Mark Bockwoldt, 95

¯ Independence Township — 1 elected: Dennis Nilles, 134 votes

¯ Liberty Township — 2 elected: Daniel Schaa, 111 votes, Brad Anderson, 114 votes

¯ Lincoln Township — 2 elected: Bryce Klaver, 95 votes, James Hill, 98 votes
