Forty Hamilton County businesses have received grants from the new Hamilton County Development group this week.

Officials said the money for these grants came from funds that were setup in 1995 and managed by Hamilton County S.E.E.D. for a revolving loan program. Per the original agreement, if S.E.E.D. ever dissolved, the funds would return to the control of the Hamilton County Supervisors to be used to support businesses in Hamilton County.

One criteria required the business to have not received any other federal, state or local funds due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The recipients are as follows:
