Action on the MercyOne management services and affiliation agreements for Van Diest Medical Center were tabled Tuesday night until the October board meeting.

Board Chairman Roberta Knutson suggested postponing the vote on the matter so that trustees would have time to review the documents and ask questions before the vote.

“And I want us to have a full board present to vote on the agreements,” she said. Trustee Kirk McCollough was absent from Tuesday’s meeting.

In other action, the board approved the appointment of Ashley Allers as the compliance and privacy officer, and Vickie Wickham as the security officer. Both had been serving in as acting officers in those capacities.

The board also approved $106, 971.35 in capital equipment requests, including $35,050 for concrete and repairs to the parking lot areas, $10,787.14 for the installation of a donated fountain, $13,300.21 for network switches and connectors, and $47,834 for coronary calcium scoring software.

Also approved was the updated organizational chart and the Q2 calendar 2019 policies.
