New fair queen to be crowned tonight
Coronation ceremony set for 7:30 in the grandstand of the fairgrounds
Seven young women will compete for the title of 2019 Hamilton County Fair Queen tonight during a coronation ceremony set for the grandstand at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds, according to organizers.
McKenna Mitchell, the 2019 Fair Queen will crown the new queen during the ceremony, set to begin at approximately 7:30 p.m.
Competing this year are:
• Emma Bailey, the 18-year-old daughter of Kent and Milissa Bailey of Webster City.
• Ella Carlson, 18, is the daughter of Doug and Sheila Carlson of Stratford.
• Madelin Egeland, 18, is the daughter of Dale and Kari Egeland of Boone.
• Ursula Leksell, Webster City, is the 18-year-old daughter of Ron Corbin and Heidi Leksell.
• Adalie Schwandt of Williams is the 16-year-old daughter of Keith and Lisa Schwandt.
• Katelyn Sue Sogard, 18, is the daughter of Doug and Suzanne Sogard of Stanhope.
• Anna Utera-Greenfield, 18, of Kamrar, is the daughter of Sara Utera.
