Community invited to ‘Embrace the Journey’
Event at middle school designed for seniors and adult children
Organizers for the “Embracing the Journey” event invite community members to attend a free workshop Tuesday geared toward adult children and seniors looking for answers to questions regarding financial planning for later years, including long term care and estate planning.
The event will be held Tuesday, June 25 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Webster City Middle School.
Doors for the event open at 4 p.m., followed by a complimentary meal served at 5 p.m., according to organizers. Attorney and C.P.A. David A. Grooters, who specializes in Elder Law, is the featured speaker and will begin his presentation at 5:30 p.m. Several resource tables and organizations representing assisted living, home care and hospice services, meal delivery services, nursing facilities and pharmacy services, funeral home services, and senior programs will be available to answer questions until 8 p.m.
