Town hall meeting set for tonight

Community health priorities are topic of session

Van Diest Medical Center and Hamilton County Public Health have partnered to perform an evaluation of the health needs throughout Hamilton County and surrounding areas.  The findings in this evaluation will be compiled into a public report called a Community Health Needs Assessment.

The public is invited and encouraged to attend a Town Hall Meeting Monday, May 6 from 5:15 to 6:45 p.m. at Fuller Hall’s Sampson Room to discuss and evaluate the health care priorities of Hamilton County communities.  Sarah Pavelka with Pavelka’s Point Consulting, LLC will facilitate the meeting and prepare the report.

The Town Hall Meeting will be an opportunity for county residents to share their suggestions to improve health care delivery within Hamilton County with the goal to establish a plan to address the most important health issues affecting our communities. Attendance is encouraged as the input from all sectors of the population including business and industry, schools, health, and private citizens is extremely valuable to sustain and improve the future health of our communities.

Light refreshments will be served.
