Holiday pop-up shop opens

— Daily Freeman-Journal photos by Anne Blankenship

A group of local artists, craftspeople, gift makers, welders, leather workers and more have created a pop-up holiday store in the former Big Picture store, 600 Second St. The store was the brainchild of Kim Anderson who reached out to area craftspeople. The shop will be open Thursdays from 3 to 7 p.m.; Fridays from 3 to 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Dec. 22. Products range from candles and lotions, leather goods, welded items, handcrafted apparel and decorating items and more. Organizers said the vendors may change as new additions are added as the weeks go on.
