Zellmer a finalist for Carroll job
WC administrator is candidate for superintendent
Dr. Adam Zellmer, Webster City School District director of teaching and learning, is one of three finalists for the superintendent position at Carroll Community School District.
Zellmer confirmed Monday that he is a finalist for the superintendent job in Carroll.
The candidates were announced on Friday. Dr. Jesse Ulrich, superintendent AHSTW (Avoca, Hancock, Shelby, Tennant and Walnut) and Dr. Kevin Lein, Prairie Lakes Area Education Agency regional director are also in consideration for the position, according to reporting by KCIM Radio
Final interviews with all three candidates will take place on Thursday with a decision expected yet this month.
The candidate selected will replace current Carroll superintendent Rob Cordes, who has been with the district for 17 years. Cordes was approved for early retirement by the Carroll School Board in December.
Zellmer was originally hired in 2015 as the Webster City Middle School principal. He has served as director of teaching and learning since 2016.
