Charlotte Sherman wraps a gift with festive paper for Steve and Molly Pannkuk. After selecting a gift for someone on their Christmas list, shoppers who attended Christmas at the Bridge, could have their selection wrapped, ready to give. The event was hosted by the Webster City Church of Christ and drew several hundred local residents.

Hundreds of area residents turned out Saturday morning for the annual holiday shopping event, Christmas at the Bridge.

Sponsored by the Webster City Church of Christ, the event encourages giving by allowing those attending to select one gift, at no charge, from the tables filled with gift ideas for all ages. The presents were then wrapped, ready for giving. Volunteer wrappers kept busy creating festive packages for shoppers.
