WILLIAMS – A tin office/utility building owned by Iowa Select Farms was destroyed in a fire early Tuesday afternoon. The building, located in the 1600 block of Xircus Avenue, was between two hog buildings. Neither the two hog buildings or the hogs inside, were damaged in the fire. According to Jessica Heimstra, Williams Fire Chief, the building was totaled. The cause of the fire was unknown. The Williams Fire Department was assisted by the Alden Fire Department, who brought additional manpower and water.
