The location for the Hamilton County Board of Supervisors meeting scheduled for Nov. 14 at 9 a.m. has been moved to the Courthouse Basement Conference Room due to the anticipated large crowd for the Master Matrix Public Hearings.

Officials said those attending the Board Meeting need to use the stairs inside the front door at the main entrance of the Courthouse.

Individuals who wish to speak in support or opposition to the proposed Master Matrix applications must be registered prior to the beginning of the meeting at 9 a.m., according to county officials.

All speakers will be limited to two minutes and the following order will be followed for those wishing to speak:

1.) Residents of Hamilton County

2. ) Residents of counties adjoining Hamilton County

3.) Out of area residents

All written letters of support or opposition received by 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 13 will be included in the file submitted to the Iowa Department of Natural Resources.
