Children and families are invited to visit the Kendall Young Library Thursday from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. to meet Cy the Cyclone, the Iowa State University mascot.

Library officials said there would be time for photo opportunities with Cy as well as coloring fun, treats and prize giveaways. The event is geared toward kindergarten through fourth grade-aged children. Families and siblings are also welcome to attend.

The event is in honor of the 100 years of ISU Extension and Outreach, Hamilton County.
