Skills training

— Submitted photo

Webster City Fire Department conducted live fire training Monday night on an acquired structure at 1040 Bluff St. According to Fire Chief Chuck Stansfield,

“This was an effective way to work on perfecting new personnel’s firefighting skills. Each member had the opportunity to work on fire attack, search and rescue, advanced search skills, line advancement, ventilation, and other firefighter tasks in a real fire environment.” He offered special thanks to the individual who donated the house for training, all support staff and members of WCFD that made this training possible. “It was a great night with some of the most realistic training our members can attain,” he said.
