Animals at Kendall Young Library

The Blank Park Zoo, of Des Moines, visited Kendall Young Library on Tuesday morning. Kids got to meet three animals and learn fun facts about their habitats, food habits and their species. Children met a hedge hog, guinea pig and tortoise. Pictured above is the Blank Park Zoo employee giving kids a chance to pet the long haired guinea pig. The next program at Kendall Young Library is the Rick Eugene Magic Show, which is Thursday from 6-7 p.m. Kids and families are welcome.
