The Relay for Life of Hamilton County will be held Thursday at West Twin Park beginning at 6 p.m.

In case of inclement weather, the event will be held at The Bridge, 905 Des Moines St., Webster City.

Nearly 40 cancer survivors are expected to be in attendance at this year’s American Cancer Society Relay for Life of Hamilton County. Pre-registration is from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. The Survivor’s Lap begins at 6:15 p.m.

The Luminary Service will begin at 9 p.m. Those who wish to purchase a luminary in memory of a loved one can do so for a suggested donation of $10. Luminaries can also be purchased the night of the event until 8:30 p.m.
