Auditions for Webster City Community Theatre’s summer production of “Church Basement Ladies” are scheduled Sunday, March 26 at 4pm and Monday, March 27 at 7pm. Auditions will be held in the First Congregational Church UCC, 1000 Willson Avenue.

Perusal scripts and music are available for short term checkout at the Kendall Young Library.

The cast of five includes one middle age man, a college age woman,and three older women.

“Church Basement Ladies” is a celebration of church life in the 1960s. The show features four archetypal characters of that era. It explores their relationships with each other as they organize the food,solve the problems of a small rural church,and navigate the social changes during those tumultuous years.
