The Webster City Little League has been renamed and will now be known as the Webster City Youth Baseball and Softball Association.

The Webster City Little League Board of Directors voted unanimously on March 26 to rename their existing organization and to run independently from the Little League International program.

This spring, the Webster City YBSA program will consist of two divisions: Girls 4th, 5th, and 6th grade softball and Boys 4th, 5th, and 6th grade baseball.

Webster City YBSA is open to boys and girls who are in the Webster City, Northeast Hamilton and Stratford school districts. Registration continues online through Monday, April 3 by visiting www.webstercitylittleleague.com.

Mandatory player evaluation clinics will be Monday, April 3 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. for the boys and Tuesday, April 4 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. for the girls. The clinics will be held at the Webster City YBSA Field on the Webster City High School campus.
