A head-on collision occurred on Thursday afternoon at the intersection of 220th St. and Erickson Ave. According to David Turpen, Hamilton County Sheriff’s Deputy, a Chevy headed west bound on 220th St. crossed over the center line and was struck by a pickup truck headed east bound on 220th St. One female was transported to Van Diest Medical Center. Two other individuals also went to Van Diest Medical Center but were not taken by ambulance. Names of the drivers have not yet been released. The Webster City Fire Department, Webster City Police Department, and Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office responded.
