Gardening program offered at Extension
Session to offer tips for making the most of garden space
“Vegetable Garden Layout: Getting the most out of your space” is the topic of a program to be held March 28 at the Hamilton County ISU Extension and Outreach Office, 311 Bank St., in Webster City starting at 6:30 p.m..
Presented by Yvonne McCormick, Extension Horticulturist, this session will cover timely tips and techniques for making the most of your garden space. Space saving topics will include companion planting, vertical gardening, and square foot gardening. Block-style garden layout and raised beds will also be discussed.
This program is free and open to the public. First-time gardeners and experienced gardeners are all invited to attend. For reservations, stop in or call the Hamilton County ISU Extension and Outreach Office at 515-832-9597.
