Businesses, entrepreneurs invited to fourth EntreBash
The Webster City Area Chamber, Hamilton Hometowns, and Wright County Economic Development are hosting EntreBASH Feb. 20, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Stanhope Community Center in Stanhope. As a part of the five-year Regional Entrepreneurship Project, the event is sponsored by UNI’s Business and Community Services and the U.S. Economic Development Administration.
Area entrepreneurs and small business owners are invited to attend this casual event geared toward networking, learning, and community engagement to celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit in Hamilton and Wright counties.
Interact with a panel of three local entrepreneurs about starting and running a new business. Pam Johnson, from The Big Picture in Webster City, Jill from CocoRoo in Clarion and Kevin Dietzel of Lost Lake Farms in Hamilton County will be featured speakers. Statewide and regional resources will also be available, rounding out this opportunity for budding entrepreneurs and seasoned business owners alike to take their idea or business to the next level. These resources will represent the vast number of organizations in Iowa that are available for planning assistance, funding and financing, technical support, and educational opportunities.
There is no cost to attend EntreBASH, but registration is requested at www.entreBASH.com. Participants are welcome to come and go as needed.
Now in year four of the project, EntreBASH is a direct result of one of four main goals of the Strategic Plan for Entrepreneurial Development: Connect region entrepreneurs (of all types and stages) with peers and service providers to implement best practices, collaborate, and improve the overall business environment.
