Council to meet tonight

Two public hearings on agenda for meeting

The City Council of Webster City will meet tonight at 5:30 p.m. in the council chambers.

The council may approve a resolution setting a time and place for a public hearing concerning the proposed sale of a portion of city-owned property located in Lot 1, Wall Creek Addition, in Webster City. The proposed time for the public hearing is Monday, Feb. 20 at 5:45 p.m.

A resolution authorizing the mayor and city clerk to enter into an (on call) Street Paving Specialist Engineering Agreement with Snyder & Associates, Inc. of Ankeny, for engineering services is on the agenda for possible approval.

The members of the council will be discussing a time and date for the next Town Hall meeting.

The council will also be discussing the process on the Youth Advisory Commission applications as well as the council appointment to the commission.

A public hearing will be held at 5:45 p.m. concerning the proposed plans and specifications and proposed form of contract and estimate of cost for the Lyons Creek Pedestrian Bridge and Sidewalk Extensions Project.

A resolution approving and confirming plans, specifications, and form of contract and estimate of cost for the Lyons Creek Pedestrian Bridge and Sidewalk Extensions Project is on the agenda for possible approval.

A resolution awarding the contract for the Lyons Creek Pedestrian Bridge and sidewalk Extensions Project is also on the agenda for possible approval.

A public hearing will be held at 5:50 p.m. concerning the proposed plans and specifications and proposed form of contract and estimate of cost for the James Street Roadway Reconstruction Project.

A resolution approving and confirming plans, specifications, and form of contract and estimate of cost for the James Street Roadway Construction Project is on the agenda for possible approval.

A resolution awarding the contract for the James Street Roadway Construction Project is also on the agenda for possible approval.

The next city council meeting will be held on Monday, Feb. 20 at 5:30 p.m.
