Public hearing concerning proposed development agreement with Webster City Custom Meats, Inc. on council agenda this evening

The City Council of Webster City will meet tonight at 5:30 p.m. in the council chambers.

A motion pertaining to the second reading of a proposed ordinance amending the Code of Ordinances of the City of Webster City, Iowa, 1996 by adding a new chapter to Title IV Culture and Recreation, Chapter 119B pertaining to the creation of a Youth Advisory Commission, is on the council agenda.

A resolution authorizing the mayor and city clerk to enter into a three-year wastewater services agreement between the City of Webster City, Iowa, and Iowa’s First, Inc., d/b/a VeroBlue Farms in connection with the company’s use as a customer of the sewage system, is on the council agenda for possible approval.

A public hearing will be held at 5:45 p.m. concerning the Proposed Development Agreement with Webster City Custom Meats, Inc.

A resolution approving the proposed Development Agreement with Webster City Custom Meats, Inc., authorizing Annual Appropriation Tax Increment Payments and Pledging Certain Tax Increment Revenues to the Payment of Agreement is also on the council’s agenda.

A motion on the first reading of a proposed ordinance amending the Code of Ordinances of the City of Webster City, Iowa, 1996 by adding Paragraph 32 to Chapter 65 Section .02, providing the addition of a stop sign on Fairmeadow Drive is on the council agenda.

A motion on the first reading of a proposed ordinance amending the Code of Ordinances of the City of Webster City, Iowa, 1996 by adding Paragraph 100 to Chapter 69 Section 08, adding the addition of a no parking zone along Lewis Drive, is on the council agenda.

Also on the agenda is a resolution possibly approving Change Order No. 3, reconciling quantities and materials to The Tile Pro’s, Webster City, for completion of contract for the Riverside Stormwater Wetland Project.

A motion accepting electric utility Easement from Iowa’s First, Inc. on Des Moines Street is on the agenda for possible approval.

A resolution authorizing the mayor and city clerk to enter into an agreement with Robb’s Tree & Stump Service, Story City, providing for the 2016-2017 tree trimming and removal services is on the agenda for possible council approval.

A resolution obligating funds from the Urban Renewal Tax Revenue Fund for appropriation to the payment of annual appropriation tax increment financed obligations which shall come due in the next succeeding fiscal year, concerning Fareway, is on the agenda for possible council approval.

A resolution obligating funds from the Urban Renewal Tax Revenue Fund for appropriation  to the payment of annual appropriation tax increment financed obligations which shall come due in the next succeeding fiscal year, concerning WCF Financial Bank, is on the agenda for possible council approval.

A resolution obligating funds from the Urban Renewal Tax Revenue Fund for appropriation  to the payment of annual appropriation tax increment financed obligations which shall come due in the next succeeding fiscal year, concerning 3DK Enterprises, LLC, is on the agenda for possible council approval.

A resolution obligating funds from the Urban Renewal Tax Revenue Fund for appropriation  to the payment of annual appropriation tax increment financed obligations which shall come due in the next succeeding fiscal year, concerning KTJ 261, LLC (Shopko), is on the agenda for possible council approval.
