Wehling, Burton wed in Sumner

Debra Wehling and Landon Burton, both of Fredericka, were married Sept. 12, 2015 at the American Legion Hall in Sumner. Tina Suckow officiated the ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Randy and April Wehling of Sumner and Mike and Charlene Burton of Williams.

Mandy Westendorf, friend of the bride from Fredericka, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Nicole Seiser, friend of the groom from Buckeye, Emery Tew, sister of the groom, Cedar Rapids, and Missy Wehling, sister-in-law of the bride, of Hazelton.

Kamryn Westendorf, goddaughter of the bride, was the flower girl. Ring bearers were Franklin Tew, nephew of the groom, and Kravyn Westendorf, friend of the bride, was the wagon puller.

The best man was Justin Seiser, friend of the groom of Buckeye. Groomsmen were Lucas Burton, brother of the groom of Williams, Dustin Sage, friend of the groom of Dunkerton, and Jason Bru, friend of the groom from Bouton.

Grandparents of the couple include Marian Fox, Fredericksburg, Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Wehling, Waterloo and Nita Burton, Clarion.

The bride is a 2009 graduate of Sumner-Fredericksburg High School and a 2012 graduate of Kaplan with an LPN degree. She is employed by Bartels Lutheran Retirement Community in Waverly and Comfort Care in Cedar Falls.

The groom is a 2005 graduate of Northeast Hamilton High School and a 2007 graduate of Hawkeye Community College with an Ag Power degree. He is employed by Bodensteiner Implement Company in New Hampton.

Following a wedding trip to the Wisconsin Dells, the couple is living in Fredericka.
