Mary Carlson of Stratford and Anthony Battazzi of Jewell are engaged and plan to be married in September.

Parents of the couple are Chris Carlson and Anne Arklie of Stratford, Larry Battazzi of Jewell and Connie Black, Webster City.

Mary is a 2009 graduate of SouthHamilton High School and a 2014 graduate of Iowa State University. She is an elementary special education teacher at Northeast Hamilton School.

Anthony is a 2010 graduate of South Hamilton High School and a 2014 ISU?graduate, He is a FARMserver for Beck’s Hybrids.

The couple will be married Sept. 26, at the bride’s family farm in Stratford.
