Morgan Elizabeth Hejna, of West Des Moines, is the daughter of Alan Hejna and Bill and Julie Cooney, of Clear Lake. She is the granddaughter of Jerry and Bonnie Bakken of Northwood, and Jerry and JoAnn Hejna of Ventura. Morgan is a 2009 graduate of Clear Lake High School, and a 2013 graduate of the University of Northern Iowa with a Bachelor of Arts degree in marketing. She is employed by Acute Care as a physician recruiter in Ankeny.

Ryne Allen Staley, of Webster City, is the son of Todd and Janet Staley, of Webster City. He is the grandson of Donald and Donna Williams of Williams, and Jerry and Pamela Staley of Webster City. Ryne is a 2007 graduate of Webster City High School, and a 2012 graduate of the University of Northern Iowa with a Bachelor of Arts degree in business/administration. He is employed by USMTS in Webster City.

The couple will be married at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, 2014 at Lutheran Church of Hope in West Des Moines.
