The Webster City Area Chamber of Commerce will host a presentation entitled

“Jody Halsted Shares Ireland” on Nov. 6 at 5:30 p.m. Halsted has been a frequent visitor to Ireland for over 10 years. She is coming to Webster City at 501 Bank St. She’ll share about the places on the Chamber Ireland Tour that she has been, too. She will share pictures and stories and be able to answer many questions about Ireland. There will be a short video on the Discover Ireland Tour and then Halstad will present. There is no charge to attend.

Halstad’s love affair with Eire began when she was a single traveler and did not dissipate upon her marriage and the birth of two children. If anything, traveling in Ireland with family has only deepened Jody’s love of the country.

Halsted is a freelance writer and the owner of Family Rambling Media. Jody’s love of Ireland led her to begin sharing the joys of family travel to the Emerald Isle at Ireland Family Travel, where she shares travel tips, family friendly Ireland destinations and lodging reviews.

Though she’s not been everywhere in Ireland, her family travels annually, always exploring new locations and making new friends along the way. When she’s not traveling, Halstad is homeschooling her two daughters or attending genealogy workshops. During her “down time”, She enjoys cooking and “geeking out” with her husband Doug, a software developer and IT specialist.
