Nelson, Rapp wedding

IOWA?FALLS?- Lydia Joan Nelson of Iowa Falls and Noah Ray Rapp of Williams were married June 29, 2013 at Bethany Lutheran Church, Iowa Falls.

Rev. Patrick Wiedemeier performed the double ring ceremony. The church was decorated with gypsophila. Parents of the couple are James and Sandra Nelson of Iowa Falls and Michael and Jory Rapp of Williams. Grandparents are Richard Ubben of Dumont, Paul and Joan Nelson of Bella Vista, Arkansas, Joy Kinney of Hampton, and Elaine Rapp of Dubuque.

An arrangement of white and yellow roses was set out in memory of the late grandparents Virginia Ubben, Jerry Kinney and Robert Rapp.

Amanda Rapp was the soloist.

The bride wore a white satin lace strapless mermaid fitted long gown with a sweetheart neckline, satin waistband and swarovski crystals with delicate lace appliqus on it. The veil also featured swarovski crystals.

She carried a clutch bouquet of white eskimo roses and white carnations with accent of yellow craspedias. A touch of her Grandma Virginia’s antique brooches completed the bouquet. Maid of honor was Leah Nelson, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Amanda Rapp, sister of the groom, Amanda Sunken, Kristine Gustin, and Cassie Johnson friends of the bride. Each wore a platinum chiffon granite satin strapless knee length gown with yellow shoes. Each carried a clutch bouquet of six yellow Isabel roses wrapped.

The flower girls were Kayla and Clara Etnyre, friends of the couple. They each wore a white long sleeveless lacy dress with yellow shoes.

The groom wore a gray tuxedo with a yellow tie.

The best man was Josh Rapp, brother of the groom. The groomsmen were Aaron Nelson brother of the bride, Cody Fox friend of the groom and Caleb and Gabe Rapp brothers of the groom. Each wore a gray vest, white long sleeved shirt and gray tuxedo pants.

The ring bearers were Tate and Cash Rapp nephews of the groom, Cash carried the rings and Tate held a wooden sign which read “Here comes the bride.” The candle lighters were Zach Rapp brother of the groom and Tyler Heiden friend of the couple.

Ushers were Eric State friend of the couple and Kyler Rapp brother of the groom. The personal attendants and guest book were Abby and Autumn Rapp sisters of the groom. A buffet dinner reception and candy bar was served at the Gentle Student Center. Jason and Melissa Kinney uncle and aunt of the groom were the host and hostess. A rehearsal meal was held at the Cheaper by the Dozen in Williams June 28. Noah is in the Air Force and stationed at Hurlburt Field and Lydia is employed at Sports Clips. The couple is now residing in Fort Walton Beach, Fla.
