Iowa Specialty Hospital’s 200th baby of 2019, Theodore Broderick Hopp, was born on June 12 at 11:07 in the morning to parents Krista and Brody Hopp. Baby Theodore weighed 8 pounds 10.7 ounces, was 21 inches in length, and has brown hair and blue eyes. He will join big brother, Arthur, who loves his new little brother very much.

“Everything has been very positive here,” said mother Krista. “I feel really well cared for by everyone.”

“Yes, we’ve talked about how nice it is here throughout our stay,” added dad Brody.

Iowa Specialty Hospital’s Maternity Center is located at its Clarion Campus. “We’re honored that the Hopp’s chose us for the birth of Theodore,” said Casey Howell, OB Leader. “It’s always a privilege to be a part of these special family moments.”

In 2018, Iowa Specialty Hospital delivered 385 babies which is the most ever delivered at the facility in one year.
