Prom goers had some time to wait for the promenade to conclude before boarding buses for dinner, dancing, and entertainment in Dike and Waterloo. The plan was for the buses to return to the school at 4 a.m. Sunday.

JEWELL – A Night of A Thousand Lights” was the theme of this year’s prom at South Hamilton, held on Saturday evening.

The big event kicked off at the school with guessing jars, followed by the promenade in the school gym. With friends and families seated in the bleachers, prom goers had a chance to show off their formal finery as they strolled across the decorated scene.

Following the promenade, charter buses departed with the students for Dike, where there was dinner and dancing at Fox Ridge Country Club, followed by performance by a hypnotist. Before returning to Jewell, the buses took students to Cadillac XBC in Waterloo to enjoy bowling, virtual reality, laser tag, and video games.
