Lions Club to hold Pancake breakfast

The Webster City Lions Club will its annual pancake breakfast on Sunday at Webster Cit Middle School from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Pancakes, eggs, sausage and beverages are on the menu.

Tickets are $6 each for adults, $3 for ages 5 to 10 and under age 5 will eat for free.

Those attending are invited to bring old used glasses and hearing aids for donation. WC2DC?students will be hosting a bake sale during the event.

Night hike to be held Saturday

Explore the woods on this wildlife safari to discover the different creatures that roam through Briggs Woods park. The Autumn Night Hike is scheduled for Saturday night at the park.

Information will be provided on fish, turkey, vultures, insects, snakes and bobcats.

The free hike will start at 7 p.m. and end at 8 p.m. Boman Funeral Home will be sponsoring a free light meal before the start of the safari from 6 to 7 p.m.

Costumes are welcomed and encouraged. Appropriate dress for the weather is encouraged. Check in will be with the coordinator at Shelter 2.
