Hio “Bud”?and Arlene Simpson will celebrate 70 years of marriage on Thursday, Aug. 4.

The couple were married in Webster City on Aug. 4, 1946 and have lived in Webster City all of their married life.

Children of the couple are Patricia (Fred)?Foster of Staunton, Virginia and Jill (Don)?Christoffersen of Kimballton.

Grandchildren are Melinda (Brett)?Wills of Staunton, Virginia, Katie Christoffersen of Guthrie Center and Travis (Kelly)?Christoffersen of Brownsville, Wisconsin. Great-grandchildren are Aaron and Bryan Wills, Staunton, Virgina and Eva Christoffersen of Brownsville, Wisconsion.
