Hawk baseball falls to Cowboys
Clarion-Goldfield took advantage of six South Hamilton errors and scored seven runs over the final four innings to down the Hawks, 9-5, last night at the Mike Penning Athletic Complex in Jewell.
South Hamilton (1-3) out hit the Cowboys, 6-4.
Hunter Griffin went 2-for-3 with a double and RBI in the loss. Trey Woodall was 2-for-2, JD Rader and Colton Schwrien added singles, and Rylan Harris drove in two runs.
Blake Barquist took the loss on the mound after working the initial three innings.
South Hamilton will travel to the north side of Des Moines tonight to take on Saydel at 7:30 p.m.
