To the Editor:
It appears to me that the sitting City Council thinks it is the best interest to spend 2 million of our tax dollars promoting real estate that should be a contractors vision and investment. You have spent a million dollars on an electric car folly and just a year ago, $650,000 on three houses that are not selling. There are 14 lots of Bicentennial/Oakwood that have been for sale for years and three high-end houses in the area that have been on the market for months. And before your time, we lost how much to the Arrow Acme plant?
Please be wise about your decisions. Listen to the people you represent; the people who have seen their property tax increase due in part to some ill advised spending.
