The actual founders date was April 16, 1914. A 100-year history photo book of Chapter EL was created with a copy given to the Kendall Young Library. P.E.O. is a philanthropic organization where women celebrate the advancement of women; educate women through scholarships, grants, awards, loans, and stewardship of Cottey College an motivate women to achieve their highest aspirations.
