The Daily Freeman Journal

Van Diest Medical Center and Hamilton County Public Health have partnered to perform an evaluation of the health needs throughout the county and surrounding area. The findings in this evaluation will be compiled into a public report called a Community Health Needs Assessment.

The public is invited and encouraged to attend a Town Hall Meeting to discuss and evaluate the health care priorities of our communities. Vince Vandehaar of VVV Research and Development in Olathe, Kansas, will facilitate the meeting and prepare the report.

"This Town Hall Meeting will be an opportunity for you to share both your experiences and suggestions to improve health care delivery within our county," said Lori Rathbun, Van Diest Medical Center CEO. "We encourage your attendance, as your input is very valuable to build and sustain healthy communities."

The town hall discussion will be held on Aug. 25, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Van Diest Medical Center Cafeteria. A light meal will be served.

RSVP to Lori Foster at -832-7877 or by Aug.20 if you plan to attend.
