Hamilton County Seniors and Law Enforcement Together (S.A.L.T.) meeting is set for Aug. 7 at the Williams Public Library in Williams.
Free blood pressure checks will be offered from 9 to 9:30 a.m. The S.A.L.T. meeting will then begin with treats and upcoming local events from each Hamilton County community. Law-enforcement will update citizens on local scams and unlawful activities in the county.
A program presented by Mark Dohms entitled "My Trip to Antarctica" will follow. He will share his personal experiences and adventures.
Mark Dohms of Webster City will be the guest speaker at the August SALT meeting. He will share photos and talk about his trip to Antartica.
The S.A.L.T. group partners with law enforcement, volunteers and community groups to address local safety issues for Hamilton County citizens.
