Work is progressing on the new Victory Christian Fellowship building in Jewell.
The shell of the building will be completed by contractors shortly so that members of the church will be able to get to work finishing the interior of their new church. Church members ages 5 to 85 spent a day earlier this summer doing the exterior brick work for the building.
The new 60' x 105' structure, aluminum construction with brick facing, will have a sanctuary that seats 300. Sukup Construction of Sheffield is the contractor.
Contractors work on the entrance to the new building which will house Victory Christian Fellowship in Jewell. A lawn chair worship service will be held in the building in several weeks.
In spite of a wet, late spring that delayed the start of the building project, Pastor Ernest Amstalden is holding fast to his target completion date of Thanksgiving. He is planning to hold a lawn chair worship service inside the unfinished building in a few weeks.
